All of our services and programs are driven by our mission to provide effective prevention and support to individuals and organizations who are looking for ways to increase adaptive thinking and accountability, and to learn respectful life skills.

Programs

PEGs

The Parent Education Groups (PEGs) program is a twelve week course focusing on the concept of choice and accountability in parenting. Parents and guardians will develop an understanding of thinking patterns and identify vulnerabilities that set up unhelpful parent/guardian-child interactions.

One hour sessions for twelve consecutive weeks
Rates: $20 per session per family

CHANGE

The Change program (State of Illinois approved) is specifically designed to confront the dynamics of domestic abuse. Perpetrators of abusive behavior meet in groups that are available throughout the week. Groups are provided in English for men and women and in Spanish for men.

One and one half hour sessions for twenty six weeks
Rates: $50 per intake. Session rates start at $17

PATTERNS

The PATTERNS program is designed for individuals demonstrating a pattern of irresponsible and abusive behaviors. Individuals are often referred to this program through the court systems for "anger management" educational services. Groups are provided in English for men and women and in Spanish for men.

One and one half hour sessions for twelve weeks
Rates: $50 per intake. Session rates start at $17

OPTIONS

The Options program is an eighteen week program offered to women whose lives have been impacted by domestic abuse. Group members learn about the dynamics of abuse and how to increase their self-awareness and problem solving skills.

Alternatives

The Alternatives program is specifically designed for students from the University of Illinois involved in the disciplinary system.

Fun-Da-Mentals

The Fun-Da-Mentals program provides a respectful and experiential group environment in which adolescents are encouraged to develop their decision-making skills by making connections between choices and consequences.

Impact

The Impact program is for non-offending parents, professionals, and community members that focuses on the impact on children of exposure to domestic violence.
